Want to know how I did it?
Well, I’m going to give you three exact ways. Now for those of you reading this, if you’re going to be lazy and you’re not going to think that it’s going to take work to build it for free, get the fuck out of here. Go watch something else because this is not for you. But if you’re willing to work, you’re willing to put in the effort that I tell you exactly what to do, and the hustle and the grind that it takes to get it done, keep reading, because literally it doesn’t take a lot of time, number one, but it does take consistent effort.
And what I mean it doesn’t take a lot of time, don’t expect results in 48 hours. Put your head into a microwave and hit the button, expect to be 20K a month ’cause that ain’t going to work. It’s going to take 30, 45 days. Some people might get quicker results. It took me at least two and a half weeks to land my first consulting client but I’m not going to sit here and build the pie in the sky and tell you it’s going to work.
1. Facebook
In today’s day and age, a lot of people look at Facebook as the social media platform but they don’t look at it as a business platform. Facebook, in my opinion, is probably the biggest mecca when it comes to reaching business owners because of a lot of the teeny boppers, people that used to be on Facebook and posting about their life, they’re gone. They’re on Instagram. They’re on Musically. They’re on Snapchat. They’re on other shit. A lot of business minded people on Facebook.
All you got to do is go on a little search bar on top of Facebook. If you are going after, let’s say real estate agents, type in real estate agent. You can filter by your city. You could filter by country. You could filter if you’re in Australia and want to get clients in the US. What state in the US? Filter by that. Do you want to go up to California so you can come live in California? You can do that. Do a little bit of research. How long the person’s been in real estate. See what kind of stuff that they’re posting. See if you can deliver some value to them. Put together a database. Put together research and a mini case study that they could take to them and put it in an email and send it off to them. Even just reach out to them on Facebook.
Doing the legwork, a little bit of research for the client that you want to work with goes a long way. The reason being; number one, is clients love to see that you’re delivering them value. Not even clients, anybody wants to see that you’re delivering them value first. Rather than you being a pitch fest asshole that comes in there and just on your Facebook, hey would you like to hire me to be your social media marketing manager? Would you like me to take on your Facebook ads? Would you like me to take on your YouTube ads? People get that all the fucking time.
It’s like, what are you doing to be different? What are you doing to be the person that they look at what’s coming from a standpoint like wow, this guy gave me, or this girl gave me so much value that I should actually look at considering hiring them? And all you did was do 10 minutes, 15 minutes maybe of research. Put together how long they’ve been in the real estate game? What have they been doing? What can they do better? And then give that to them for free ’cause if you give that to them for free, nine out of 10 times, they’re not going to want to do it themselves. I’ll tell you that right now because they’re looking for someone like you. They’re looking for someone like you to take on their work.
That’s why we can charge 2,500 a month, $5,000 a month, $10,000 a month and up for certain clients because we come from a standpoint of delivering massive value up front. Anytime I get on a sales call with any of my clients or whether it’s my sales guys or myself, getting on a call with a client, the number one thing that I tell every single person in our company is, “Give our clients value first before ever asking them for a dollar.” Literally, every single client that we get on, they get a full breakdown on exactly what they need to do in their campaign. Exactly what they need to do with their copy and exactly what it would take, whether it’s traffic, whether it’s what platform to be on, what influencers to go after. Every single thing on that phone call. And at the end of it I literally say, “Hey, if this is something for you, go ahead and take it. I would love to see how you guys implement it into your company. If not, let us know how we could work together.” And that just came from Facebook. That’s number one.
2. LinkedIn
LinkedIn was my goldmine. LinkedIn is my goldmine and LinkedIn will forever be my goldmine and I will always be thankful for what LinkedIn has done because LinkedIn was the one thing that literally helped me blow up my business. And I know I said number one Facebook because today Facebook is a lot, a lot, easier to get a hold of people but LinkedIn definitely takes a lot of work. You’re sitting there literally going in, doing the exact same thing. Researching, messaging them and giving value up front. There are tons of programs out there that teach you how to use a LinkedIn email system.
On LinkedIn you’re reaching out and doing exactly what I told you on Facebook, doing it on LinkedIn because LinkedIn is literally where a majority of high-level professionals are working. If you’re going after corporate or someone that’s at a higher professional and you know you have the balls to ask for more money and you know that you can go with them and literally say, “Hey this is what I do and this is the results that I’ve proven.” And make sure your profile is set up to be so that they look at you and then come out on your profile, your profile’s set up, you can go ahead and look at my profile. I’ll link it into the description below. But go ahead and look at that profile and see how to look like a professional person on LinkedIn ’cause that’s where professionals hang out. That’s literally what I did.
I went from zero to 20K a month in my business on LinkedIn. I didn’t use Facebook. I didn’t use any of the other ones. That’s it. You don’t have to use all three. I’m giving you three. Pick one and I could guarantee you could take your business to 10K a month easily. 90 days to six months guaranteed take it to 10K a month. But you got to put in the work.
3. Instagram
You can go on Instagram, you can search by hashtags or you can search by geolocations. You can literally map if you’re living in San Diego California, go in Sam Diego area. Are you working with restaurants? See what restaurants are posting on Instagram all the time. Just see what they’re doing. And if you’re in your local area, get off your ass, get in your car, get on the transit and go in person and see if you can talk to them because I guarantee you, you’re doing that in person, is going to be, especially after you’ve done the research then you show up in person and you say, “Hey, business owner,” or, “Hey, person owning this business, this is what I’ve got. This is what I want to show you. This is exactly what I think you need to do and I wanted to just give this to you.”
I guarantee you, you try to leave that place, 90% of the time, they’re going to want to give you money. Or at least hire you to run their social media, their digital marketing, whatever it is. It is not that hard but it does take work. And if you’re willing to put in the work, you will get the results. I don’t care what age you are. You can do it. Anybody can do it. I’ve seen tons of people, have helped tons of people do it. I have tons of testimonials to show you exactly how to do this.
